Finishing The Season On a High

September 23

to all TRISUTTO / PRorER athletes who raced this weekend! Many PR's and no ER's!

John Bye
finished off the season with new PR of 4:36 to take 5th Place in the male 45-49 age group at IM 70.3 Atlantic City in rainy weather today. John also punched his ticket to the 2019 IM 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France!

Janice Stands Addison
went 5:46 on a toasty day to take 12th in the female 55-59 age group, capped off by a sub-2 hour half marathon. Great results from a dedicated athlete!

Patrick Hanko set a new PR by over 8 minutes by going 5:24:16 at IM 70.3 Augusta. I'm excited for what we can achieve next season with a result like this!

After being struck in the head on the swim and experiencing concussive-like symptoms, Julia Marie Norcia refused to quit and finished the race when most people would have just thrown in the towel. Very proud of her for sticking with it when things didn't go her way. She has made huge gains this season, and I have no doubt that she will be back on the starting line for redemption soon.

Wendy Hooper Hart set a new 70.3 PR at Ironman Augusta today with a 5:24:16 performance for 13th in her female 45-49 age group, mere seconds from a top 10 finish.

Finally, Kelly Fillnow fought her way back from 14th on the swim to come off the bike as 10th place overall female pro. From that point on she held an impressively consistent sub-7 minute pace to run a 1:28:30 half marathon, and 4:27:43 overall time to take 9th place in the female pro division. This was a great performance to lead into her final preparation for Ironman Taiwan in two weeks. Not to be outdone, her twin sister Meghan crushed the female 35-39 age group with a 4:36:03, and was 12th overall female. She begins her final preparation for the Ironman World Championships in Kona in just 3 weeks.

I'm proud of all the athletes with their tough and dedicated racing over the weekend, looking forward to seeing some big things in the coming weeks and next season!
